About the role

Senior implementation leader focusing on executive oversight of complex enterprise deployments, scalable delivery methodologies, and leadership development within Zip’s Solution Consulting organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Our Most Complex Projects: Serve as the Executive Sponsor and senior implementation authority on strategic, Fortune 500, highly customized deployments; partner with C-suite and key stakeholders to navigate organizational complexity, mitigate risk, and ensure time-to-value.
  • Define Implementation Strategy & Playbooks: Evaluate current delivery methodologies and design scalable, repeatable processes for discovery, solution architecture, workflow design, and testing; standardize across the team while maintaining flexibility.
  • Drive Leadership Development: Act as a player-coach and mentor to Senior Implementation Managers and Solutions Architects; provide guidance on governance, stakeholder management, and technical delivery while fostering high-performance culture.
  • Cross-Functional Executive Alignment: Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to translate implementation learnings into actionable product roadmap inputs and pre-sales improvements.
  • Establish Governance & Quality Standards: Implement project health monitoring, risk escalation, and QA standards to maintain CSAT and NRR.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation, professional services, solutions architecture, or management consulting
  • At least 4+ years in a senior leadership or director-level capacity at a SaaS or B2B enterprise technology company
  • Proven experience overseeing complex, multi-workstream deployments for large-scale enterprises (ERP integrations such as Workday, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle; global rollouts)
  • Strategic process-building experience in scaling teams, designing methodologies, playbooks, and KPIs
  • Strong mentorship and leadership development track record
  • Executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Familiarity with procurement, finance, accounting, AP automation, or supply chain workflows is a plus
