About the role

Experienced site reliability and engineering coach to teach SRE core skills and support students and professionals in building careers in site reliability engineering, including mentoring on resume, interview prep, salary and career strategy, and freelancing guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core skills in site reliability engineering, system monitoring, incident response, performance optimization, and automation
  • Help students build capabilities through consistent, practical skill building
  • Support career development: resume review, cover letters, LinkedIn review, behavioral and technical interview prep, salary negotiation, promotion strategy, networking strategy
  • Provide freelancing guidance for those pursuing independent work
  • Host sessions virtually and set own hours and rates
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in site reliability engineering
  • Prior coaching or mentoring experience
  • Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex technical concepts
