About the role

Experienced social work and counseling coach to work with students and professionals pursuing careers in social work and counseling, teaching core clinical skills and supporting career development.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching core clinical skills in counseling techniques, therapy modalities, mental health assessment, and treatment planning.
  • Helping students build clinical and career capabilities through consistent, practical skill building.
  • Career support including resume review, cover letters, interview prep, and salary negotiation, as well as promotion strategy, networking strategy, and freelancing guidance for independent practice.
  • Host sessions virtually and set own hours and rates.
  • Partner with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in social work or counseling.
  • Prior coaching or mentoring experience.
  • Clear, structured approach to breaking down clinical and career topics.
