About the role

Experienced Database Design & Development Coach helping clients break into or grow within database design and development roles, covering technical skills (design, development, data modeling, optimization, data management) and career coaching (resume, LinkedIn, cover letters, interview prep, networking, salary strategy, freelancing).

Responsibilities

  • Teach core database design, database development, and data modeling skills
  • Help clients strengthen database optimization and data management practices
  • Guide clients on applying emerging tools like AI fundamentals and AI automation to database work
  • Provide resume review, LinkedIn review, and cover letter guidance
  • Offer behavioral and technical interview prep tailored to database roles
  • Provide networking strategy, salary negotiation, promotion strategy, broader skill building, and freelancing support
  • Set own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, partner with team to deliver quality coaching

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in database design or development (e.g., database engineer, administrator, or equivalent)
  • Strong track record of building efficient and reliable data systems
  • Clear, structured coaching approach for both technical and career growth
