About the role

Experienced Dental Residency Coach to guide students through dental residency applications, including specialty/program selection, application and match strategy, personal statements, resumes, recommendations, interview prep, financial aid, licensing, rotations, and waitlist strategies. Remote contract role with self-set hours.

Responsibilities

  • Help students with specialty selection and program selection, and build an overall application strategy and match strategy.
  • Support students with personal statement and essay writing, resume review, and securing strong letters of recommendation.
  • Provide guidance on interviews, financial aid & scholarships, licensing requirements, clinical rotations, and waitlist strategy when needed.
  • Set own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the dental residency and match process (as a former program director, resident, or industry professional)
  • Track record of helping students put their best applications forward
  • Clear, structured approach to guiding students through a stressful and high-stakes process
