About the role

Experienced Dental School Coach to guide students through the dental school application process from start to finish, including program exploration, school selection, application strategy, personal statement and essays, AADSAS/TMDSAS edits, interviews, financial aid guidance, and waitlist strategy. Remote contract role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Help students with general exploration of dental programs and school selection
  • Build and execute an overall application strategy
  • Edit and refine personal statements, secondary essays, and AADSAS and TMDSAS applications
  • Highlight achievements and experiences; assist with letters of evaluation and recommendations
  • Prepare students for interviews and navigate financial aid & scholarships
  • Develop waitlist strategies when needed
  • Set own hours and rates; host sessions virtually; collaborate with team to deliver high-quality, supportive experience for every student

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the dental school admissions landscape (e.g., former admissions officer, dental student, or industry professional)
  • Track record of helping students strengthen applications
  • Clear, structured approach to guiding students through high-stakes processes
