About the role

Experienced mobile development coach to teach iOS, Android, and cross-platform app development, guide learners through mobile testing and UI/UX design, and support career prep (resume, interviews, salary negotiation) while helping independent builders with freelancing and app store strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core mobile app development and user interface design skills
  • Guide learners through cross-platform development frameworks and mobile testing best practices
  • Help students build a strong technical foundation through hands-on skill building
  • Support the career side of the journey (resume review, cover letters, LinkedIn review, technical interview prep, behavioral interview prep, salary negotiation)
  • Provide guidance on freelancing, app store optimization, promotion strategy, and networking for independent careers
  • Set own hours and rates; host sessions virtually; partner with team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student

Qualifications

  • Professional experience shipping mobile apps
  • Prior coaching or mentoring experience
  • Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex technical and career topics
