About the role

Experienced medical residency & fellowships coach to assist applicants with specialty selection, program selection, application strategy, personal statements, interview prep, letters of recommendation, match strategy, clinical rotations, licensing, financial aid & scholarships, resume review, and waitlist strategy. Remote contract role with self-set hours and rates.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients with specialty selection, program selection, and application strategy
  • Develop personal statements and essays for applications
  • Prepare clients for interviews
  • Guide letters of recommendation
  • Navigate match strategy, clinical rotations, licensing, financial aid & scholarships
  • Review resumes
  • Advise on waitlist strategy
  • Possess hands-on experience with residency/fellowship applications and match process
  • Provide coaching/mentoring with a clear, structured approach
  • Host sessions virtually and collaborate with the team to deliver quality support for every client

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with the residency or fellowship application and match process
  • Prior coaching or mentoring experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping clients present their strongest candidacy
