About the role

Experienced medical school admissions coach to support applicants preparing to apply to medical school, including school selection, application strategy, editing AMCAS/TMDSAS, personal statements, secondary essays, MD/PhD essays, Casper, MMIs, interviews, letters of evaluation, financial aid and waitlist strategy, and exploratory guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients with medical school selection and application strategy
  • Edit AMCAS application, TMDSAS application, and activities list
  • Develop strong personal statements, secondary essays, and MD/PhD essays
  • Prepare clients for Casper test, multiple mini interview, and traditional interview
  • Guide clients through letters of evaluation
  • Advise on financial aid and scholarships
  • Assist with waitlist strategy
  • Provide general exploration for clients still narrowing down their path
  • Set own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, collaborate with team to deliver high-quality experience

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with the medical school admissions process
  • Prior coaching or mentoring experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping clients present their candidacy
