About the role

Experienced pharmaceutical careers coach to work with students and professionals pursuing careers in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities include teaching core knowledge in drug development, clinical trials, pharmaceutical research, medication knowledge, regulatory compliance, and guiding certification requirements. Also provides career guidance such as resume review, interview prep, salary negotiation, freelancing and networking strategy for independent consulting in the space. Remote contract role with self-determined hours and rates.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core knowledge in drug development, clinical trials, pharmaceutical research, medication knowledge, and regulatory compliance.
  • Guide students through certification requirements relevant to their career path.
  • Support the career side of the journey: resume review, interview prep, and salary negotiation.
  • Provide freelancing and networking strategy for those building independent consulting work in the space.
  • Host sessions virtually and collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Prior coaching or mentoring experience.
  • Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex scientific and regulatory topics.
