About the role

Experienced corporate development coach to guide clients in mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, business valuation, financial analysis, strategic planning, market research, negotiation, and career development within corporate development roles. Remote contract role with self-managed hours and rates.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core skills in mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and business valuation
  • Help clients build strong financial analysis and strategic planning abilities
  • Guide clients on market research, competitive analysis, and negotiation skills to support deal-making and growth strategy
  • Offer resume review, LinkedIn review, and cover letter guidance, plus interview prep, networking strategy, salary negotiation, and promotion strategy tailored to corporate development roles
  • Provide broader skill-building support and coaching through both technical and career growth
  • Set own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, partner with the team to deliver high-quality coaching experiences

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in corporate development, investment banking, or strategy (as a corporate development professional, banker, or industry professional)
  • Strong track record of evaluating and executing deals
  • Clear, structured approach to coaching clients through technical and career growth
