About the role

Experienced NP school admissions coach to guide nurses applying to nurse practitioner programs, including school selection, application strategy, essays, letters of recommendation, specialization guidance, resume review, interview prep, waitlist strategy, clinical rotations, licensing, certifications, and financial aid guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Guide students through school selection and application strategy
  • Refine essays and secondary applications
  • Coordinate letters of recommendation
  • Help students choose a specialization that fits clinical interests and career goals
  • Support resume review
  • Assist with interview prep
  • Develop waitlist strategy
  • Provide guidance on clinical rotations, licensing and certifications
  • Offer financial aid and scholarships guidance to navigate enrollment

Qualifications

  • firsthand experience with the NP admissions process
  • prior advising or coaching experience
  • clear, structured approach to helping students present their strongest possible application
