About the role

Experienced public policy coach to teach policy analysis, public administration, legislative advocacy, and nonprofit management; supports students and professionals with skill-building, career guidance, and freelance consulting preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core skills in policy analysis, public administration, legislative advocacy, and nonprofit management
  • Help students build capabilities through consistent, practical skill building
  • Support career development activities including resume review, interview prep, salary negotiation, and networking strategy
  • Provide freelancing guidance for those pursuing independent consulting work in public policy
  • Coach and mentor students and professionals, with a clear, structured approach to breaking down complex policy topics
  • Host sessions virtually and set own hours and rates in collaboration with the team

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in public policy
  • Prior coaching or mentoring experience
  • Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex policy and organizational topics
