About the role

Experienced visual arts coach to teach visual arts techniques, artistic expression, and art history, and to guide students through exhibition planning, art marketing, and career development including resume review, interview prep, salary negotiation, and networking strategy. Flexible contract role with remote sessions, set by the coach.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching visual arts techniques, artistic expression, and art history.
  • Guiding students through exhibition planning and art marketing to present and sell their work.
  • Supporting skill building and the career side of the journey (resume review, interview prep, salary negotiation, networking strategy).
  • Freelancing guidance for those pursuing independent artistic work.
  • Hosting sessions virtually and setting own hours and rates.
  • Partnering with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience as a visual artist.
  • Prior teaching or coaching experience.
  • Clear, structured approach to helping students grow both craft and career.
