About the role

Experienced PRAXIS tutor to work with aspiring educators preparing for PRAXIS Core Academic Skills for Educators and relevant Subject Assessments. Responsibilities include assessing students, creating tailored study plans, teaching core concepts and test prep strategy, and helping with accuracy, pacing, and test-day confidence. Remote contract tutoring with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each student's starting point and create a tailored study plan.
  • Teach core concepts and test prep strategy for PRAXIS Core Academic Skills for Educators and relevant Subject Assessments.
  • Help students build accuracy, pacing, and confidence leading up to test day.
  • Host sessions virtually.
  • Partner with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

  • Strong PRAXIS score.
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience.
  • Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex material.
