About the role

Experienced professional athletics mentor to guide athletes training for and competing at professional level, covering athletic training, sport-specific skills, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, nutrition, performance coaching, mental toughness, and career development including branding, media, endorsements, contracts, networking, and freelancing guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Guide athletes through athletic training, sport-specific skills, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and nutrition and diet.
  • Build performance coaching and mental toughness ahead of tryout preparation.
  • Support the business side of an athletic career, including personal branding, media training, endorsement and sponsorship strategy, contract negotiation, and networking strategy.
  • Provide guidance on career transition and freelancing for athletes planning beyond competition.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every athlete.

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidates have professional or elite athletic experience
  • Prior mentoring experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping athletes build physical performance and career skills
