About the role

Experienced veterinarian school admissions coach to guide students through veterinary program selection, applications, essays, letters of recommendation, extracurriculars, clinical rotations, resume review, interview prep, waitlist strategy, licensing, and financing guidance. Remote contract role with self-set hours and rates.

Responsibilities

  • Guide students through school selection and application strategy
  • Assist with essays and personal statements
  • Coordinate letters of recommendation
  • Highlight extracurricular activities and clinical rotations to strengthen applications
  • Support resume review
  • Prepare students for interviews
  • Develop waitlist strategy
  • Assist with licensing requirements
  • Navigate financial aid and scholarships to fund education
  • Provide structured, high-quality coaching sessions in a virtual format

Qualifications

  • Firsthand experience with the veterinary school admissions process
  • Prior advising or coaching experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping students present their strongest possible application
