About the role

Experienced physician assistant coach to guide students applying to PA programs, including school selection, application strategy, essay editing, letter of recommendation coordination, specialization guidance, resume editing, interview prep, clinical rotations, licensing, PANCE prep, and navigating financial aid.

Responsibilities

  • Guide students through school selection and application strategy
  • Edit essays and secondary applications
  • Coordinate letters of recommendation
  • Help students choose a specialization aligned with clinical interests and career goals
  • Support resume editing and interview prep
  • Provide guidance on clinical rotations, licensing, and PANCE exam preparation
  • Navigate financial aid and scholarships to fund education
  • Set own hours and rates; host sessions virtually; partner with team to deliver high-quality, supportive experience for every student

Qualifications

  • Firsthand experience with the PA admissions process
  • Prior advising or coaching experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping students present their strongest possible application
