About the role

Experienced nursing school admissions coach to guide students through nursing program selection, application strategy, essay editing, letters of recommendation, specialization choices, resume editing, interview prep, clinical rotations guidance, licensing and NCLEX preparation, and financial aid navigation. Remote contract role with flexible hours and virtual sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Guide students through nursing school selection and application strategy
  • Edit essays and secondary applications
  • Coordinate letters of recommendation
  • Help students choose a specialization aligned with clinical interests and career goals
  • Support resume editing, interview preparation, and guidance on clinical rotations
  • Provide licensing and NCLEX exam preparation guidance
  • Navigate financial aid and scholarships to fund education
  • Set own hours and rates; host sessions virtually; partner with team to deliver high-quality experience for each student

Qualifications

  • Firsthand experience with the nursing school admissions process
  • Prior advising or coaching experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping students present their strongest possible application
