About the role

Architectural Project Manager responsible for turning empty Primer campuses into functioning schools through site feasibility, permitting, project management, and FF&E/product specification. Works remotely with fast-paced multi-site deployment and development of standards/playbooks for campus rollout.

Responsibilities

  • Site feasibility and pre-construction: conduct code analysis and zoning review, coordinate traffic and parking studies, run test fits and space programming, make go/no-go decisions on new sites, build the diligence playbook for faster future site evaluations.
  • Permitting and project management: manage permitting across jurisdictions, coordinate with civil engineers, life safety specialists, and architects, build relationships with code officials and inspectors, manage multiple projects at different stages without missing deadlines.
  • FF&E and product specification: research and specify furniture, equipment, and branded materials, build vendor lists and product catalogs, identify value engineering opportunities to save money while maintaining student experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in architectural project management, interior design, or related field with ownership from design through construction
  • Experience building design standards or prototypes for multi-location rollout (plus)
  • Background in schools, retail, or hospitality where physical space matters
  • Deep knowledge of building codes, ADA, fire life safety, zoning, and permitting across multiple jurisdictions
  • Fluency in 3D Modeling Software, Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, or equivalent; comfort with project management tools (e.g., Asana)
  • Ability to produce standards and playbooks for others to follow
  • Ability to run multiple projects and vendors concurrently
