About the role

Talented Motion Designer to join Proton's Growth Studio and collaborate with marketing, product, and branding teams to design best-in-class motion experiences, visualize complex technical concepts, and contribute to campaigns across social and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Define and shape Proton's motion vision across product, web and brand.
  • Design and animate web experiences, micro-interactions, and product animations that improve the user experience.
  • Produce high-quality motion and visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, YouTube, and the website.
  • Help define Proton's motion design principles, guidelines, and reusable animation systems.
  • Work independently on end-to-end projects while collaborating with multiple teams across the company.
  • Create both motion and graphic design assets that strengthen Proton's visual identity.
  • Build performant web animations using modern formats and technologies such as animated SVGs, Lottie, WebM, etc…

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in graphic design/ motion design in an agency or in-house (please provide a link to your Portfolio).
  • Ability to create motion, interaction, and/or animated visuals within a given brand/visual identity.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive. You don’t require constant input, and you have meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to articulate design decisions and convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools. Figma and Adobe Suite are mandatory and Blender is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Proton is an office-first company. We expect you to spend most of your time in the office, and while we do offer some flexibility to work from home, in-person collaboration is valued.
