About the role

Senior Solutions Architect for the Public Sector in Australia who serves as a technical advisor to sales, partners, and customers, translating business needs into technical architectures and guiding complex implementations within Elastic Stack.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client requirements with detailed analysis to identify their needs. Translate these business needs into clear technical specifications. Facilitate discussions to prioritize client expectations and ensure alignment.
  • Design scalable and robust system architectures that meet business needs. Create detailed architectural documentation and diagrams for clarity and alignment. Ensure system designs adhere to industry standards and conduct risk assessments to evaluate architectural choices.
  • Guide technical teams in navigating complex project implementations and ensure code quality by adhering to best practices. Conduct regular technical reviews and feedback sessions to enhance solution quality. Stay informed about emerging technologies and integrate them into your designs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehensively understand their goals and gather detailed requirements. Identify and address any conflicts among stakeholder interests to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Evaluate existing solutions to determine their performance and compatibility with client requirements. Develop proof of concept and prototype demonstrations to assist clients in their evaluation process.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years with system architecture design
  • 4+ years with cloud-based solutions
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in cloud-native application development
  • Knowledge of AI, ML, and high-performance computing
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of existing systems
  • A willingness to travel 50% within region, as well as occasionally internationally
  • Experience working in Australia and New Zealand Public Sector
