About the role

Internship at Jane Street in Hong Kong paired with full-time employees, offering mentorship and exposure to client engagement, trading needs, and internal finance and trading fundamentals through immersive experiences and internal classes.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside experienced Sales people and Sales-Traders to learn how we engage and cover institutional clients on trading needs in the asset classes we cover
  • Learn how we service clients, issuers, and prospective clients
  • Attend internal classes on various topics to learn broader fundamentals of finance and trading

Qualifications

  • - Planning to graduate in 2028
  • - Studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • - Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese, Korean, Malay or Thai is a plus
  • - Highly analytical and logical, comfortable working with numbers and data
  • - Extremely organized with attention to detail
  • - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • - Curious about financial markets and eager to learn in a rapidly changing environment
  • - Thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
  • - Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks and learn from mistakes
  • - Proactive, self-motivated problem-solver excited about building relationships with clients and partners
