About the role

Internship in IT Operations Engineering focused on hands-on training and real-world projects. Mentored by full-time IT Operations Engineers, with exposure to desktop engineering, networking, and application platforms, applying problem-solving and documentation skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to technology support requests
  • Building and configuring Windows and Linux devices
  • Supporting Windows domain infrastructure
  • Monitoring and supporting systems
  • Helping with projects to optimize workflows using tools like PowerShell
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of computer hardware components and how they interact with each other
  • Familiar with the Windows operating system
  • Interested in learning about networking, programming or system administration
  • Able to communicate clearly and respectfully, a reliable team player with a "no job too small" attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Humble and unafraid to ask questions and admit mistakes
  • Able to deconstruct technical problems and gain hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving issues at desktop, server and network levels
  • Able to develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Some familiarity with a scripting language (PowerShell or Bash) is a plus
  • Fluent in English
