About the role

SPs are versatile generalists who take a deeply analytical and strategic approach to solving Jane Street’s most pressing problems. They move across groups as firm priorities evolve, developing a holistic view of our business and driving cross-functional growth. As an SP Intern, you'll work on projects that combine big-picture thinking with rigorous analytical problem-solving and gain insight into how SPs lead strategic initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects that combine big-picture thinking with rigorous analytical problem-solving
  • Learn to break down complex challenges into actionable steps
  • Use data to inform decisions and build frameworks to tackle business questions
  • Gain direct insight into how SPs lead strategic initiatives across the organization

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English
  • Available to start working full-time in 2028
  • Structured and detailed problem-solving approach
  • Effective communication, ability to drive projects forward, exceptional attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn across a wide range of disciplines and subject matter
