About the role

HR Partner to support a broad range of strategic and operational responsibilities in New York, collaborating with a global HR team and influencing growth, performance, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for employees to resolve issues
  • Hold long-term strategic discussions with leaders
  • Coach new managers on employee relations issues
  • Help design and improve people processes (e.g., performance management)
  • Dig into data to inform strategy on HR issues
  • Collaborate with other HR Partners to support colleagues
  • Contribute to initiatives on a global scale and refine the role to meet evolving needs of the firm

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Around 10 years of experience in HR, including 5+ years in an HR Business Partner role
  • Mature and professional; handle information with sensitivity and care
  • Flexible team player comfortable both managing and doing the work
  • Positive and approachable; composed, prepared, and balanced in interactions
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices; resourceful in finding answers
  • Ability to develop and articulate own point of view using data while remaining open to other perspectives
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Benefits

  • Base salary $200,000 - $250,000 with annual discretionary bonus
  • Total compensation includes bonus beyond base salary
