About the role

Town is an AI-powered assistant that connects to your tools to do real work on your behalf, focusing on end-to-end ownership of features from UI/UX to backend plumbing in an AI-native environment.

Responsibilities

  • You own features end to end -- from making tasteful UI/UX decisions to the backend plumbing that makes them real.
  • Design and ship experiences that make AI-native collaboration legible and loved.
  • Work across the full stack anchored on the product in a fast-moving, uncertain environment.
  • Collaborate across teams to build autonomous AI-driven experiences across web, desktop, and mobile.

Qualifications

  • Generalist by choice, comfortable moving between frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
  • Excited about owning surface area end to end in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong product taste and ability to hold the whole experience in your head from pixel to prompt to database schema.
  • AI-native coding workflow experience that increases speed and effectiveness.
  • Experience with LLM-powered products, agentic UX, or products with non-determinism as a design constraint.
  • Shipped product at a high-growth startup through an inflection point and can share concrete shipping stories.
  • Value trajectory over tenure and rapid delivery over years of experience.
  • Willingness to work in-person, five days a week.
