About the role

Lead PM role focusing on inpatient clinical workflows, owning two product pillars: Inpatient Scribe and Chart Summarization (Patient Summary & Chart Chat) to transform documentation, synthesis, and interaction with the medical record for hospitalists and specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Inpatient Scribe roadmap for hospitalists and specialists, grounded in inpatient documentation workflows and EHR integration requirements.
  • Deliver a documentation experience handling multi-encounter days, team-based rounding, procedure documentation, handoff notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Drive measurable clinician outcomes (time-to-chart, documentation completeness, reduced after-shift charting) and demonstrate ROI for hospital administrators.
  • Own inpatient quality metrics (accuracy, latency, note completeness, workflow completion rates) and eliminate pain points driving escalations and clinician drop-off.
  • Partner with Engineering and Clinical AI/ML to adapt ambient capture and note generation models to inpatient language and workflows.
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Patient Summary and Chart Chat within inpatient settings, managing complex, multi-day episodes.
  • Define the summarization experience (admission summaries, problem-oriented views, medication reconciliation context, overnight recaps, trend analysis).
  • Own Chart Chat as a conversational interface to the medical record for natural-language questions about patient history, labs, imaging, prior encounters, and evolving trajectories.
  • Establish evaluation frameworks for summarization accuracy, completeness, and clinical safety, partnering with Clinical AI/ML and clinical advisors.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience with direct ownership of a vertical product line or platform, including roadmap and end-to-end product experience.
  • Track record of rapidly building deep domain expertise in a complex, unfamiliar domain.
  • Strong technical fluency - comfort with AI/ML products, API integrations, and complex system design.
  • Experience driving adoption in complex enterprise environments with multi-persona buying committees.
  • Based in SF, available to be in the office 3x/week.
