About the role

Juicebox is seeking its first Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering high-impact features for thousands of recruiting teams, while coaching engineers, shaping architecture, and scaling the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team through coaching, feedback, and career development.
  • Own execution across complex initiatives, removing blockers and ensuring the team delivers high-quality work quickly.
  • Partner with product, design, and company leadership to set priorities and align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture, technical direction, and key engineering decisions.
  • Help scale the engineering organization through hiring, onboarding, and building a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing and developing software engineering teams in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and experience building and shipping production systems.
  • A track record of leading complex technical initiatives while balancing people leadership, technical judgment, and execution.
  • Strong communication skills and experience partnering across product, design, and business teams.
  • A bias toward action and the ability to lead effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
