About the role

OMNI Coordinator contributes to store success by receiving and processing inbound shipments, OMNI fulfillment, and strategies for operations and inventory management. Interim, full-time role reporting to the General Manager during the holiday season.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and assists customers in finding products and delivering great service; actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems; actively promotes company products and services; partners with the team effectively.
  • Maximize sales growth and profitability by receiving/processing shipments by end of day, stocking products, and supporting the sales floor as required.
  • Complete shipping audits on items $100 and above; submit SIMS adjustments; validate quantities received by initialing on the manifest; pallets must be received in SIMS on the day of delivery.
  • Monitors OMNI channels (BOPIS, Amazon Today, Go Local); picks merchandise orders; packs orders per packaging requirements and timelines; completes orders promptly.
  • Complete the packaging and shipping process for all Customer Sends.
  • Research and report inventory shortages/overages; assist with organization and maintenance of OMNI hold area; process orders, pickups, and return transactions.
  • Use Aged Order Report to audit outstanding OMNI orders and coordinate with MOS to resolve.
  • Review SIMS Compliance to ensure drop shipments are received and tasks completed.
  • Participates in markdowns and pricing changes.
  • Anticipate and solve problems in partnership with GM; perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current Sur La Table core associate | Minimum 1-2 years
  • Good communicator with ability to utilize technology and engage with team and customers
  • Solves problems and makes decisions to drive sales and profit
  • Able to deliver results; adaptable with energy and positive attitude; organized with strong time management
  • Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
  • Flexible schedule to perform OMNI fulfillment, receiving, and stock tasks, including weekends and holidays, early morning or late-night shifts
  • Interim role during holiday season (October 15, 2023 – February 17, 2024) with length determined by business needs
