Physician role delivering Neko's preventive-care model in New York clinics, focusing on preventive medicine, patient conversations, and collaboration with clinical and care teams to improve member experience and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Consultations that feel like conversations: you ask, listen, and explain findings in plain language, so every member feels heard and leaves with a clear picture of their health.
- Personalized, action-oriented health plans built together with the member from their screening results and what matters to them, translated into next steps they actually take, measured by member follow-through and downstream outcomes.
- Member education on dermatological and cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle strategies, shared as a dialogue rather than a lecture, and measured by member sentiment.
- Comprehensive preventive health screenings with consistent quality across every member visit, using skin imaging, cardiovascular assessments, and AI-powered decision support.
- Clinical oversight and escalation support for APPs, serving as supervising or collaborating physician and raising the bar for clinical quality and team performance across the clinic.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Operators, APPs, and care teams to improve continuity of care and the end-to-end member experience.
Qualifications
- Active New York State medical license.
- Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of post-residency experience.
- Recent outpatient experience (at least a year in the past 5 years).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
