About the role

Product Marketing Lead responsible for positioning, messaging, launches, and sales enablement; acts as a central voice for PMM and collaborates with product, sales, and demand gen to translate roadmap into buyer-focused narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning and messaging for Serval: narrative, value props, and differentiation against legacy ITSM and AI point solutions.
  • Lead product launches from tiering to GTM plan to execution, coordinating product, sales, and demand gen.
  • Build the sales enablement layer: pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, demo narratives, objection handling, and competitive intel.
  • Become the resident expert on buyers (IT, security, and ops leaders) and translate their world into resonant messaging.
  • Drive competitive intelligence: track landscape, build battle cards, arm field to win head-to-head.
  • Partner with demand gen and content on campaigns, webinars, and thought leadership to move pipeline.
  • Support pricing and packaging work with market and win/loss insights.
  • Create customer-facing proof: case studies, ROI narratives, and reference content.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS sold to technical buyers (IT, security, DevOps, or infrastructure).
  • Track record of owning positioning and launches end to end.
  • Strong writing; ability to simplify complex technical products for executives.
  • Deep comfort partnering with sales and enabling reps to win.
  • Analytical instincts grounded in research, win/loss data, and evidence-based messaging.
  • Bias to action and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Bonus: experience with ITSM, IT operations, identity/access, security, or AI/agent products.
