About the role

Presales Solution Architect focused on Mendix low-code, Generative AI, and Intelligence Center X (ICX) to help customers accelerate digital transformation. Leads technical discovery, architectures, demos, and proof-of-concepts, and positions ICX, Graph, and AI capabilities as part of Siemens' AI and digital transformation strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer business and technical challenges, understand impact, clarify desired outcomes, and identify opportunities for Mendix, ICX, AI, and enterprise data solutions.
  • Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, identify technical risks and decision criteria, and develop a clear technical strategy for advancing the opportunity.
  • Shape the technical evaluation by recommending demonstrations, workshops, architecture exercises, or proofs-of-concept based on the opportunity.
  • Design solution architectures leveraging Mendix, ICX, AI services, and enterprise systems.
  • Conduct technical workshops, architecture sessions, and executive briefings.
  • Address technical questions, concerns, and competitive objections with clear, credible recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout evaluation and adoption phases.
  • Deliver compelling business and technical demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
  • Develop reusable industry and solution demonstrations and proof-of-concepts using Mendix.
  • Demonstrate AI-powered business applications using Mendix, ICX, Generative AI, and agentic development patterns.
  • Demonstrate integration with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI services.
  • Showcase governance, scalability, security, and lifecycle management best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Mendix application development, architecture, or consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.
  • Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications and business processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to both business and executive audiences.
