About the role

Hybrid Madrid-based Senior Customer Engineer responsible for technical go-to-market leadership, enterprise advisory, and end-to-end customer lifecycle from pre-sales validation to onboarding, deployment architecture, and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation: lead technical deep-dive discovery with Account Executives, map customer infrastructure (DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, Network Security, Workers) to Cloudflare architectures, define PoCs and validation plans, deliver tailored presentations and diagrams, address objections and security questions, determine deployment strategy as part of proposals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Forward Deployed Engineer).
  • Architectural mindset with ability to white-board and design complex enterprise networks and security architectures.
  • Strong consultative and advisory skills with ability to translate technical concepts to business outcomes for engineers and C-level executives.
  • Commercial mindset with track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles in SaaS.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences.
  • Technical breadth in at least four known domains: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI Proficiency, Coding/Scripting, Developer Platform Fluency.
  • Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
