About the role

Rilla is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to architect and ship features across the stack, build end-to-end workflows at scale, and establish high-quality engineering patterns as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and ship features across the stack at lightning speed.
  • Build end-to-end workflows, take them to production, and solve real world problems at scale.
  • Raise the bar for code quality and decision-making as an early technical steward, setting patterns for a world-class engineering culture as the company scales.

Qualifications

  • Strong coding skills with proficiency in Javascript, C++, Python, Rust, or similar languages.
  • Strong engineering experience, ideally developed at startups.
  • Familiarity with storage and data processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and other technical tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to iterate quickly with teammates, incorporating feedback and maintaining high quality.
