About the role

Internship role at Rilla focused on designing and shipping beautiful UI, contributing to early-stage product development, and shaping design culture as one of the first designers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from discovery through feature design and implementation without PMs, collaborating with engineering peers.
  • Onboard customers to early prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly to build impactful features.
  • Collaborate across desktop and mobile platforms to evolve core product and spearhead new verticals.
  • Work directly with users to uncover real-world problems and ensure solutions address their needs.
  • Contribute to defining and shaping Rilla’s design culture and processes as part of a small design team.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate deep drive and genuine passion for design, with a strong focus on designing and shipping beautiful UI.
  • Embrace a customer-centric approach and engage directly with users to ensure solutions meet needs.
  • Champion quality and craftsmanship, delivering thoughtful design and intuitive interactions.
  • Be energized by joining an early-stage team and shaping product culture as one of the first designers.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and ship rapidly to learn from customers.
  • Nice to have: Production-level coding experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or front-end frameworks like React and Tailwind.
