About the role

Senior Recruiter responsible for full-cycle hiring of technical GTM talent in India (Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Field Engineering leadership) to support Databricks’ India expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical GTM roles across India — Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Field Engineering leadership — from first outreach to close.
  • Partner with Field Engineering and Sales leaders as a strategic advisor on sourcing strategy, market mapping, competitive intelligence, comp positioning, and talent insights.
  • Activate and engage passive, hard-to-reach technical talent who aren’t actively looking.
  • Build and sustain engaged talent pipelines to meet aggressive hiring goals and APJ expansion.
  • Create closing strategies that win against competitive offers and manage stakeholder expectations with data.
  • Use data to set benchmarks, drive workforce planning, and refine hiring processes as we scale.
  • Champion a world-class candidate experience and act as a Databricks brand ambassador at every touchpoint.
  • Contribute to building a diverse, inclusive, and high-caliber workforce.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience recruiting within the software / Data / AI industry, ideally for technical GTM, pre-sales, Solutions Architecture, or Field Engineering profiles.
  • A track record of scaling teams at a high-growth company.
  • High energy, grit, and a relentless work ethic.
  • An "AI builder" mindset with hands-on interest in technology and ability to discuss technical concepts with candidates.
  • Comfort with chaos, prioritization skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to build strategic partnerships across the business and influence senior stakeholders with data.
  • Creative, resourceful sourcing approach beyond obvious channels.
  • Strong ownership and bias for action; treatReqs as own business.
