About the role

Quantitative Trader internship in London offering mentorship, hands-on projects, intensive classes, workshops, and elective topics in machine learning, algorithmic trading, and trading strategy. Focus on learning to identify market signals, analyze and execute strategies, build models, and gain trading intuition through real-data projects and simulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Pairing with experienced quantitative traders to learn how to identify market signals, analyse and execute strategies, construct quantitative models, conduct statistical analysis, and build trading intuition.
  • Work on projects related to day-to-day trading problems, including analysing datasets, training predictive models, simulating trading strategies, writing production tools, and exploring big-picture questions.
  • Participate in intensive classes, workshops, and team-based mock trading sessions during the internship.
  • Optional elective participation focused on one of: Machine Learning, Modelling, and Data Science; Algorithmic Trading and Market Microstructure; Trading Strategy and Scenarios.

Qualifications

  • A strong quantitative thinker (no specific degree or major required)
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communicator
  • Collaborative team player
  • Eager to ask questions, admit mistakes, and learn new things
  • Fluent in English
  • General programming experience is a plus; not required to know a particular programming language
