About the role

Internship program in Sales and Trading to learn how Jane Street engages and covers institutional clients across asset classes, with internal classes and hands-on exposure to client servicing and trading concepts.

Responsibilities

  • - Work alongside experienced Sales people and Sales-Traders to learn how we engage and cover institutional clients on their trading needs in the different asset classes we cover.
  • - Learn how we service our clients, issuers, and prospective clients.
  • - Attend internal classes on various topics to teach broader fundamentals of finance and trading.

Qualifications

  • - Studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, coming into or having completed the final year
  • - Proactive, reliable, courteous with strong interpersonal, team working and communication skills
  • - Self-motivated and entrepreneurial problem-solver excited about building relationships with clients and partners
  • - Highly analytical and logical thinker, comfortable working with numbers
  • - Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail
  • - Interest in learning SQL and/or Python
  • - Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese or German is a plus
