About the role

SPs are versatile generalists who take a deeply analytical and strategic approach to solving Jane Street’s most pressing problems. They move across groups as firm priorities evolve, developing a holistic view of our business and driving cross-functional growth. As an SP Intern, you'll work on projects that combine big-picture thinking with rigorous analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects that combine big-picture thinking with rigorous analytical problem-solving
  • Learn to break down complex challenges into actionable steps
  • Use data to inform decisions
  • Build frameworks to tackle business questions
  • Lead strategic initiatives across the organisation (through SP career lens)
  • Explore and engage with Strategy and Product program and interview process information

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English
  • Excited to learn about a wide range of disciplines and subject matter, including global market dynamics, technical systems and tooling, operational infrastructure, and more
  • Structured and careful approach to solving problems, effective communication, ability to drive projects forward, exceptional attention to detail
  • Available to start working full-time in 2028
  • No specific finance background required
