About the role

Sprinto is an Autonomous Trust Platform enabling organizations to maintain audit-ready compliance, risk management, privacy, and AI governance through automated, trusted outputs across multiple frameworks and vendors. The Senior Staff Engineer will shape platform-level engineering, focusing on autonomous agent systems, provenance, and multi-tenant enterprise identity at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve systems where an LLM and autonomous agents perform real-world, multi-step work against real data and users, displacing manual processes.
  • Treat models as untrusted subsystems with constrained outputs, independent verification, and clear boundaries between model decisions and proposed outputs.
  • Develop depth in at least two areas among production LLM/agent systems, temporal and provenance data modeling, high-fan-out integration reliability, multi-tenant and enterprise identity, inference cost engineering, and domain modeling for regulatory rules.
  • Lead with technical direction that others follow, influencing across Engineering, Product, Security and CX, often through written communication in a remote-first environment.
  • Operate with influence without authority, maintaining clarity and credibility to drive architecture and standards across teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years building software, at least two of them at Staff scope — setting technical direction that engineers outside your reporting line followed.
