About the role

Camber is hiring a Technical Recruiter to lead recruiting for engineering, data, and related functions as the company scales. The role focuses on top-of-funnel sourcing, search strategy, data-driven hiring, and a white-glove candidate experience in a hybrid NYC environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own top-of-funnel initiatives: scale sourcing across technical roles, experimentation, outreach content, and learnings for funnel optimization.
  • Partner on search strategy: build talent maps, research markets, develop creative outreach approaches.
  • Lead with data: manage funnel metrics, identify leaks, propose and test fixes, maintain a clean ATS.
  • Scale hiring throughput and efficiency: support doubling the engineering team with new strategies and execution.
  • Level up candidate experience: coordinate, schedule, and manage onsites; deliver white-glove recruiting operations.
  • Bring ideas to life and show ownership: test tools/workflows, make recommendations, own outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience in startup or high-growth environments
  • Proven track record hiring engineering and data talent; strong relationships with leaders
  • Excellent sourcing skills across LinkedIn, outbound channels, communities, events, and emerging platforms
  • Strong closer with ability to navigate compensation, equity, and buy-in discussions
  • Speed with care: ability to move quickly while considering impact
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with relationship orientation
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building from scratch
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting platforms/workflows including Ashby, Gem, Juicebox, and AI-enabled sourcing tools
