About the role

Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on New Products to lead early-stage product-to-market work, aligned with Product and Engineering, shaping strategy, positioning, GTM, and adoption for emerging Ramp products.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product strategy early. Bring customer, market, and competitive evidence into product decisions before the roadmap is fixed. Help identify wedge, target segment, table stakes, differentiators, and highest-leverage problems to solve.
  • Find product-market clarity. Define the ICP, buyer, user, jobs to be done, workflow, alternatives, and reasons customers will switch or expand.
  • Own the product narrative. Build canonical positioning, messaging, claims, proof, and competitive story. Translate complexity into clear customer value proposition.
  • Design the zero-to-one GTM. Determine market entry, including audience, channel, pricing and packaging inputs, sales motion, self-serve motion, launch sequence, and adoption plan.
  • Lead launches end to end. Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Growth, Creative, Communications, Support, and others around one launch strategy, readiness, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build commercialization, not just awareness. Create programs, enablement, proof, and feedback loops that turn interest into pipeline, activation, retention, expansion, and revenue.
  • Work deeply with Product and Engineering. Understand architecture, data, constraints, and trust model to influence tradeoffs and explain to technical and business audiences.
  • Create the customer learning system. Develop direct relationships with buyers and users, run structured discovery, capture objections and product gaps, and turn learnings into decisions.
  • Own the business scorecard. Define indicators, build operating read, diagnose movement, and recommend interventions.
  • Build proof and competitive intelligence. Develop customer evidence, use cases, benchmarks, and current market view to improve product and GTM execution.
  • Use AI as an operating advantage. Apply AI to research, synthesis, analysis, content development, and repeatable workflows to raise speed and quality.
  • Create the new-products playbook. Build a repeatable method for taking an emerging product from customer signal to product-market clarity, launch, and scaled growth.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing, product management, growth, strategy, or another product-led GTM function with significant ownership of a product or business outcome.
  • Demonstrated zero-to-one experience with a new product, category, platform, or business line—from early discovery through launch and adoption.
  • Record of influencing product strategy using customer, market, competitive, and performance evidence.
  • Strong customer instincts and ability to conduct discovery, identify real workflow and buying problems, and extract durable signals.
  • Technical and operational fluency to learn a complex product, work with Product and Engineering, and explain it to different audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication for product narrative, executive recommendations, launch plans, and sales storytelling.
  • Strong data literacy to interpret metrics across activation, adoption, retention, pipeline, conversion, revenue, and usage, and translate findings into decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead senior partners across Product, Engineering, Sales, Growth, Creative, and Marketing without formal authority.
  • High agency and comfort with ambiguity; ability to ship first version, test, and iterate quickly.
  • Fluency with AI tools as part of daily research, analysis, writing, and operating workflows.
