About the role

Customer Architect role focused on driving adoption and expansion of Elastic solutions by aligning technical capabilities with customer business objectives, onboarding customers, removing frictions, and growing ARR. Requires hands-on technical expertise in Observability, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Search, with strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with account teams and service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the account team to provide ongoing technical coverage and support
  • Define the technical success plan for each customer
  • Ensure a successful technical customer journey from onboarding to adoption while driving consumption
  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align with business goals
  • Identify and eliminate technical frictions with customers to smooth adoption
  • Liaise between customers and support for optimized resolution and adoption
  • Be a hands-on technical authority, collaborating with the Service Team to deliver tailored solutions
  • Translate customer business needs into technical requirements for Elastic solutions
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and handover to account team to grow ARR
  • Foster ongoing customer relationships to increase utilization and ARR
  • Review and assess customer consumption, proposing upgrades and enhancements
  • Travel and work onsite with customers as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • Fluency in German & English; French a plus
  • Validated experience in Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer roles
  • Hands-on experience with Elastic solutions or equivalent technologies
  • Experience with one or more Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or Elastic Stack
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building with customers and teams
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to deliver innovative solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
