About the role

On-site, San Francisco-based role leading Reducto’s organic growth strategy across traditional SEO and AI-powered discovery, with hands-on implementation and content collaboration to establish Reducto as the authoritative source for document intelligence and agentic document workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own Reducto’s organic growth strategy across SEO, AEO/GEO, and AI-driven discovery.
  • Improve visibility across search engines and AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) and coding agents.
  • Lead technical SEO across crawlability, indexation, rendering, internal linking, redirects, and site architecture.
  • Work directly in marketing website codebase and CMS to implement improvements, debug issues, and ship changes.
  • Research, write, edit, and optimize technical content addressing developer and buyer questions.
  • Strengthen authority through entity consistency, structured references, earned mentions, and third-party coverage.
  • Define and own measurement across rankings, non-branded visibility, organic traffic, AI citations and share of voice.
  • Build or own dashboards for monitoring ranking changes, indexing issues, crawl anomalies, technical regressions, and Reducto’s presence in search and AI-generated answers.
  • Stay ahead of changes in search and AI discovery, translating developments into a roadmap and prioritized plan.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, technical marketing, or related field with measurable results.
  • Deep technical SEO fluency; comfortable implementing changes in a CMS or codebase.
  • Understanding of content strategy, information architecture, editorial quality driving traditional rankings and AI citations.
  • Hands-on experience with AEO/GEO, including how AI assistants retrieve, reference, and surface content.
  • Comfort with tools like Google Search Console, GA4 or PostHog, Ahrefs or Semrush, crawl and log-analysis tools, and AI-visibility platforms.
  • Ability to define meaningful metrics, build dashboards, and use data to prioritize work.
  • Ability to operate in fast-changing, high-growth environments and take ownership end-to-end.
