About the role

Lead the engineering team building Reducto’s product suite for enterprise document workflows. Set direction for product development on top of AI models, ensure fast, reliable, precise, and valuable products. Hands-on role with initial periods shipping as an engineer before transitioning to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with our founders, product team, and our customers to shape what products we build and how we build them
  • Creating delightful, intuitive UIs that elegantly decomposes complex document workflows
  • Ideating, prototyping and iteratively delivering new features like form filling, translations, document editing and document classification
  • Sourcing and recruiting product engineers who will build a world-class agentic document platform
  • Defining how we use AI in our building process
  • Working closely with our Platform and ML engineering teams to roll out new models and deployment capabilities

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience leading team(s) that have built applications with significant impact
  • Experience leading business-critical projects from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 100
  • Ability to debug, experiment, and iterate fast across full development lifecycle
  • Comfort with hands-on coding and shipping production-quality code
  • Quantitative approach to building products
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity; ex-founders are a plus but not required
  • Experience working directly with customers, including customer discovery or research
