About the role
Physician role delivering Neko's preventive-care model in Washington, D.C. clinics with a focus on patient-centered, preventive medicine using non-invasive screening, AI decision support, and collaborative care.
Responsibilities
- Consultations that feel like conversations and provide clear health pictures to members.
- Develop personalized, action-oriented health plans from screening results and patient priorities.
- Educate members on dermatological and cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle strategies in an engaging dialogue.
- Conduct comprehensive preventive health screenings using skin imaging, cardiovascular assessments, and AI-powered decision support.
- Provide clinical oversight and escalation support for APPs, supervising or collaborating to uphold clinical quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operators, APPs, and care teams to improve continuity of care and member experience.
Qualifications
- Active District of Columbia medical license.
- Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of post-residency experience.
- Recent outpatient experience (at least a year in the past 5 years).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
