About the role

Murphy AI is hiring Murphy's first fully dedicated Talent Acquisition hire to build and own the end-to-end TA engine, partnering with hiring managers across Product & Engineering and GTM to scale the team and grow the business.

Responsibilities

  • Source top talent, relentlessly. Go beyond inbound: build and run outbound sourcing pipelines, using AI tools and workflows to find and engage candidates across both technical (Product & Engineering) and commercial (GTM) roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers. Get deep enough into each role to challenge and sharpen the profile, not just fill a spec — be a true partner in defining who wins, not just posting the job.
  • Own the hiring process end to end. From first outreach to signed offer: interview design, coordination, feedback loops, and closing — moving fast without cutting quality.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience. Every candidate, hired or not, should leave with a great impression of Murphy.
  • Build the TA engine, not just fill roles. Stand up the systems, workflows, and AI-assisted processes that let Murphy hire multiple key roles a month without the process breaking down.

Qualifications

  • A top sourcer. You know how to find and engage candidates who aren't actively looking, not just process inbound applications.
  • AI-native. You use AI and automation by default — for sourcing, screening, and process — and you know exactly where a human judgment call still matters.
  • A true partner to hiring managers, not an order-taker. You push back, sharpen role definitions, and hold a high bar.
  • Comfortable across both Tech and GTM hiring. You can credibly evaluate and sell the role to a senior engineer and a senior AE in the same week.
  • Fast, and unwilling to compromise on quality. You know Murphy's hiring pace depends on you, and you never let speed become an excuse for a bad hire.
