Product Engineer
About the role
Product Engineer at Ultra building the glue between OP-1 robots and customers’ systems; full-stack role owning customer UX, internal ops/tools, and potential robot-touching work.
Responsibilities
- Design and build customer-facing product for running and managing robots in their warehouses, and iterate from how they’re actually used on the warehouse floor
- Build the internal tools for ops, support, and deployment so we can scale without heroics
- Pinch-hit across the stack as needed (Android VR dev, on the robot, future mobile app)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- software generalist with experience on Python/TypeScript-based web stacks
- ability to translate high-level problems into technical solutions
- experience deploying production code as part of a software team and able to move fast
