About the role

Product Engineer at incident.io building end-to-end features with a focus on customer impact, owning work from ideation to delivery, using Go, TypeScript and React.

Responsibilities

  • Spend real time in the codebase and on customer calls to understand needs
  • Own end-to-end delivery from design and planning through testing and follow-up
  • Work in Go, TypeScript and React
  • Collaborate across teams in a flat structure and contribute to product direction
  • Communicate trade-offs and product needs clearly to the team

Qualifications

  • Curiosity about how the whole system works and willingness to own problems end-to-end
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and adapt plans based on feedback
  • Comfort with sharing work early (70% complete) to get feedback
  • Product-minded with opinions on what should be built and why
  • Strong communication skills across Slack, design docs, and team discussions
